I'm A Pitchwars mentor 

Pitch Wars is a contest where published/agented authors, editors, or industry interns choose one writer each, read their entire manuscript, and offer suggestions to shine it up for agents.

It's the brainchild of the amazing and unceasing author/children's book advocate Brenda Drake and you can find out more here.

PitchWars has assisted tens of authors in securing agents and publishing deals over the last five years. More importantly, it's ensured that great books get into the hands of the most important audience in the world: children.

I'm happy to announce I'll be mentoring one Middle Grade writer, and my wish list will appear here online on my website July 19. I hope you'll be submitting. This will be the most exciting thing we've done all year. Let's go for it and get your manuscript ready to soar!
